DOC to Image Converter is a straightforward application designed to help you save Word documents as image files. This way, you will be able to distribute your documents electronically by using common sharing modes.

The program is a plug-in for Microsoft Word. Once you install the application, it appears as an add-on within the toolbar in each Word document that you open. Before enabling the conversion of the Word document into an image format, you can open the setting dialog to determine the destination folder of the converted files. The saving path can be the same folder of your original document, or you can choose a completely different location within your computer to store the new image files. For fast viewing of the resulting files, you can set the program to open the destination folder once the conversion is complete.

Furthermore, you have the ability to select a default image format out of the five types available. This way, the conversion will always be done automatically into that specific format, unless you decide to select a different one manually. Another option refers to the ability to save each page of the Word document as a separate image file, if you consider that such a conversion mode suits your needs better.

DOC to Image Converter is a simple application designed to convert Word documents into the most common image file types. With just basic settings, the program is a good alternative when it comes to turning documents into JPG, TIFF, BMP, PNG, PCX, PS, and EPS images without complications. However, I consider the price rather high, considering that it is just an ordinary document to image converter.
